Strengths
RiverStar is responsive.
We strive to respond quickly to Customer needs through daily communication
at the Planner, Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing levels.
RiverStar is flexible.
We are capable of handling Customers' automated ordering systems
- whether through EDI, via the web, or via Customer specific applications.
RiverStar excels at data
collection. RiverStar accurately collects a variety of Customer order
and product
information through the use of custom
relational databases, barcode printing, and barcode scanning
equipment. Collected information includes: ship-to, order #, tracking
information, serial #, test data, version data, etc.
RiverStar is a full service
distributor. Customer orders are processed for Factory
Production, Parts Distribution, Dealer Field Kits, Parts
Remanufacture/Reconditioning, Unit Upgrades, Preventive Maintenance, Service
Kits, and Engineering/Marketing Specials. Orders are filled in a
variety of ways: from purchased parts inventory, from parts built by
RiverStar, from out-of-box returns, or from
stripped and reconditioned parts. RiverStar also provides a unique service: we
salvage and refurbish parts from used Customer supplied machines. These
refurbished parts are then packaged and shipped worldwide per Customer direction.

History
RiverStar was established in 1995 as a Final Test,
Packaging and Distribution facility for electronic mapping systems used in
agriculture. These mapping systems are shipped directly
from RiverStar's Winona, MN, location to customers and factories located around the
world.
In 1999 RiverStar was awarded a contract with a major
medical company to Recondition, Test and Distribute electronic and
electromechanical assemblies.
In June of 2000, RiverStar consolidated operations into
the impressive
40,000 square foot facility that presently houses both RiverStar business
offices and operations. Located on three acres of undeveloped property,
this modern building has high bay warehouse space
plus
separate shipping and receiving docks. Beyond the original floor space, the
building also includes a newly completed 30,000 square
foot addition. The new addition is fully equipped and ready to handle
future manufacturing, testing, warehousing, and kitting expansion projects.
